Beginning of the LJ BotM

Like I mentioned in my TTMT video I am going to be using all of my fabric gifts from my friends on there that I received for my wedding as the fabric for the LJ BotM quilt group.

I have so much fabric that I decided to do two of each block. I am not sure if I am going to make one bigger quilt or two smaller ones.

I really like the way these blocks turned out, its amazing how much the different fabric choices affect how they look.

Alright, alright, alright…

Its been an insane two weeks for me. Last week was really rough and I didn’t get much done, but this week I am really making an effort to get stuff done again. I have been doing really well at being productive, I’m gonna keep going going going.

So what have I done so far?

I got a facebook page started for MKissa Creations: MKissa Creations on Facebook (if you haven’t liked it yet, I would really appreciate it if you would)

I got my first VW bus pillow sewn up, this was kind of the prototype, the newer ones (that don’t have actual pillows in them yet, have little headlights on them too.

Today I finished a birthday block that was a little overdue:

I’m working working working on getting some more stuff done. Another quilt block or two and also making some budgeting jars for our home. Time to save up some money!

Wooohoooo!!

I made my first etsy sale. It was a custom order for bouquets and boutonnieres. So I am working my little fanny off getting those done. But OH heaven. I am so flipping excited!

It took just about 100 views on that particular item to get the sale made. If I can pull just one order like this a month I will be soooo very satisfied. I got started on the roses last night and I have 20 done so far. Her colors are red, red w/white polka dots and white! I am just so excited to be able to make these for someone else after being so flipping happy with mine.
